couples Therapy & Marriage Counseling
You don’t have to wait to get to the end of a difficult relationship before you start learning how to have a healthy one with a loved one. Maybe you are experiencing emotional disconnection in your partnership, unfairness/imbalance, communication breakdowns, or difficulty trusting again after a past trauma or betrayal. Whether you’re dating, engaged, married, or considering separation, our couples often find that working through their conflict in a safe and nonjudgmental space helps them to gain greater awareness of their relationship dynamics and learn skills to create change.
At Oak and Stone Therapy in Pasadena, Highland Park, Koreatown, and virtually online in California and Washington, our experienced couples therapists and marriage counselors offer a therapeutic environment to help couples engage in meaningful conversations that lead to change and discover new possibilities moving forward.
Our couples and marriage therapists help you and your partner:

Learn how your histories impact your relationship and to be proactive in promoting relational health
Better resolve misunderstandings
Reduce conflict, learn triggers, and develop strategies for navigating arguments and engaging in relational responses that promote closeness
Find support for the relationship during life’s transitions into marriage, parenting, marriage after children, separation, or reconciliation
