Registered Associate MFT #157845 / working under supervisioN
I’m an Asian American associate marriage and family therapist, practicing under the supervision of Elizabeth Rhee (LMFT #122155). I’m a Brainspotting Phase 3 practitioner, Prepare/Enrich certified, Restoration Therapy level II, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy level I trained clinician. I bring a warm, relational, and culturally responsive approach to therapy, drawing from an attachment-based lens to help clients better understand themselves and their relationships, break unhealthy patterns, and reconnect with parts of themselves they want to nurture and change. I currently offer in-person sessions in Pasadena and Highland Park, as well as virtual sessions throughout California.
I work with individuals, couples, and families across different ages and stages of life, supporting clients from diverse cultural, ethnic, educational, socioeconomic, and neurodivergent experiences. I support clients navigating ADHD, anxiety, burnout, codependency, depression, intergenerational wounds, people pleasing, self image, spiritual abuse, teen issues, trauma, work stress, and women’s issues. I also have a special interest in couples therapy and relational work, helping couples strengthen their connection and navigate the patterns and challenges that arise in relationships.
As the daughter of Korean immigrants, I understand the experience of being a second-generation Asian American, navigating predominantly white spaces, and feeling caught between cultures. I also bring personal experience as someone in a cross-cultural marriage and understand the joys and challenges of bridging differences in culture, family expectations, values, and identity while building a life together.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked across various sectors, including entrepreneurship, nonprofits, education, and the arts. I understand the pressures that can come with trying to succeed in both corporate and startup environments, while also simultaneously figuring out who you are, what you need and want, and where you’re headed next.
Whether you’re navigating career uncertainty, burnout, relationship challenges, spiritual concerns, or questions of identity or purpose, I hope to provide a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and explore what meaningful change looks like for you.

Integrative
I offer a warm, supportive, and collaborative approach that’s customized uniquely to you and your needs. I am open and direct in my communication, utilizing Restoration Therapy through an attachment lens and a family systems perspective to explore how your relationships, family of origin, and past experiences have shaped the ways you understand yourself and connect with others. I also incorporate Brainspotting, a brain- and body-based approach, to support deeper processing of experiences that may feel difficult to access through conversation alone.
Your voice is very important to me, and I believe our work together is most optimal when we work together to identify your goals, understand what is and isn’t working, and adjust our work as your needs evolve. I strive to offer an authentic presence, and, when helpful, to challenge you to look at patterns, beliefs, or ways of coping that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we can develop greater awareness of your emotions and needs while creating new ways of responding that feel more grounded, intentional, and aligned with who you are. My hope is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to take risks, and empowered to move toward meaningful change.
THERAPIST-CLIENT FIT IS IMPORTANT TO THE THERAPY EXPERIENCE
I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation to determine if we might be a good fit to work together. It takes courage to reach out for support. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside you as you work toward greater healing, connection, and a more fulfilling life
